These Terms of Sale apply when a patient uses Arctic Meds to coordinate access to products or services provided by a licensed pharmacy or another authorized network service provider. By placing an order, you confirm that you have read and accepted these terms.
1. The service
- Arctic Meds coordinates patient information, prescription transfer, pricing, payment, pharmacy review, fulfillment, and delivery with independent providers.
- The service is not an insurance plan and does not replace your relationship with your primary prescriber.
- Product availability and prices may change before pharmacist verification. Legal restrictions, clinical review, or supply limitations may prevent an order from being fulfilled.
- Arctic Meds is not itself the dispensing pharmacy. Prescription medication is dispensed by a pharmacy licensed in the jurisdiction where it operates.
2. Patient eligibility and account
You must be of legal age and able to make your own healthcare decisions, provide truthful information, and use the service only for yourself or a person you are legally authorized to represent. Participation is voluntary and may be restricted or terminated for misuse, inaccurate information, safety concerns, or legal requirements.
3. Prescription and patient responsibilities
- You must provide a lawful prescription from an authorized prescriber and complete, accurate patient and medication information.
- You will use prescription medication only as directed and will not order quantities beyond applicable personal-use limits.
- You are responsible for regular care with your prescriber and for promptly reporting unexpected reactions or material health changes.
- You authorize communication with your prescriber, current pharmacy, dispensing pharmacy, pharmacist, carrier, and other providers as reasonably required to coordinate the order.
4. Pharmacist review and dispensing
A licensed Canadian pharmacist reviews the prescription and patient profile before dispensing. The pharmacist may request more information, decline an order, or contact you or your prescriber. Where a brand differs, a pharmacist will confirm the equivalent with you before dispensing. Packaging may differ from U.S. packaging and may not always be child resistant unless requested and available.
5. Prices, payment, and authorization
Prices displayed before review are estimates unless expressly confirmed. Saving a card during checkout does not authorize or charge it. Payment authorization, the final medication total, and any pharmacy, service, shipping, or optional insurance charges are confirmed after prescription review and before a charge is completed.
6. Shipping and importation
Orders are securely packaged and shipped with tracking. U.S. delivery is generally completed through USPS after entry into the United States. Delivery dates are estimates and may be affected by prescription delays, customs, weather, carriers, or product handling requirements. Temperature-controlled packaging is used when required.
7. Returns, cancellation, and refunds
Prescription medication cannot be returned or restocked after it has been dispensed or shipped. Cancellation requests made before dispensing will be reviewed, but cancellation is not guaranteed after pharmacy processing begins. Refunds for unavailable or pharmacist-declined items will be handled according to the payment status and applicable law.
8. Optional shipping insurance
When offered at checkout, shipping insurance is optional and priced according to the order subtotal. Coverage terms, exclusions, claim deadlines, required documentation, and available remedies are provided before purchase. Insurance fees are generally non-refundable after shipment.
9. Personal information
You authorize Arctic Meds and involved providers to collect, use, and share the minimum personal and health information reasonably needed for prescription review, dispensing, counseling, payment, fulfillment, safety, and delivery, as described in our Privacy Policy.
10. Independent providers and disputes
Pharmacies, pharmacists, prescribers, carriers, and other providers are responsible for their own professional services and conduct. These terms are governed by applicable Canadian law, subject to mandatory consumer protections. Claims must be raised promptly so records and delivery evidence can be reviewed.
11. Entire agreement
These Terms of Sale, the Website Terms of Service, the Privacy Policy, checkout disclosures, and any pharmacy-specific consent presented to you form the agreement governing an order. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in effect.
