Buy Crestor Online

Crestor is an oral tablet used to manage high cholesterol. This FDA-approved medication is also indicated for genetic conditions and helps prevent heart issues. It is a prescription drug in tablet form suitable for children ages 8 years and above with heterozygous familial hypercholesterolemia (an inherited type of high cholesterol). Rosuvastatin may also used for other medical conditions, but consult with your medical professional to avoid further complications. Additionally, patients need to be aware of the side effects and report it to their doctor if the conditions worsen.

Product Overview

Crestor, a statin drug, lowers cholesterol and triglycerides in the blood. This medication works by blocking an enzyme (HMG-CoA reductase) necessary for the body to produce cholesterol, thereby reducing the levels of “bad” cholesterol and raising the levels of “good” cholesterol.

Crestor is available in strengths of 5, 10, 20, and 40 mg and is suitable for adults and children over 8 who require treatment for high cholesterol. Moreover, following your healthcare provider’s instructions when taking this medication is important, as Crestor has certain side effects. These include muscle pain, weakness, abdominal pain, nausea, and headache.

For patients with a history of medical conditions like liver and kidney disease or who consume substantial amounts of alcohol, you must take precautions while initiating the treatment with Crestor. If you miss a dose, take it as soon as possible, but skip it if it’s almost time for your next dose. In case of overdose, take immediate medical assistance.

How Does Crestor Work?

Crestor is a statin medication that effectively lowers lipid levels in the blood, including triglycerides & cholesterol. It restricts HMG-CoA reductase enzymes, which are an important factor in producing cholesterol in the liver. By blocking this enzyme, Creator reduces the bad cholesterol and triglycerides while raising good cholesterol. This action prevents cardiovascular diseases, like heart attacks and strokes, by reducing plaque buildup in the arteries.

Important Safety Precautions

  • Crestor may cause liver issues, so doctors usually do not prescribe this medication to people who are already suffering from such problems as it may worsen them. Make sure you are informing your healthcare provider if you have severe liver problems like hepatitis or alcohol-related liver problems.
  • If you are over 65 years old, you are likely to experience muscle problems with this medication. Talk with an expert for medical advice.
  • Patients with chronic kidney diseases may experience some side effects when taking Crestor as their medication.
  • Do not use this medication if you are pregnant, as it can harm the fetus or cause defects in the child.
  • Crestor can cause the breakdown of skeletal muscle tissue. This condition occurs in rare cases, but to avoid complications, consult your doctor.
  • Do not eat foods that contain high fat or cholesterol. If you do not follow an adequate cholesterol-lowering diet, the medication will not remain effective.
  • If you are a breastfeeding mother and using Crestor, consult with your doctor once, as Rosuvastatin may pass into your breast milk, causing harm to the infant.

Storage

  • Store your medication at room temperature, i.e., 20°C – 25°C, in a tightly sealed container.
  • Do not keep the tablets in moist areas like bathrooms or sinks.
  • Keep it out of reach and sight of children.
  • Do not flush the medication down the toilet.
  • Discard the product when not in use.
  • Follow the guidelines your doctor/ pharmacist provides regarding disposing of the medication.
  • Read the product’s label for detailed storage instructions.
